    Work experience certificate

The hardest step in your path to success is always the first step. We will give you a certificate of experience upon completion of your contract, which will help you to stand out from the competition when applying for your first job after university.

We will give you thorough training and preparation before you start to work with an expat family. Training topics include basic first aid, child protection, life skills/ soft skills and language acquisition training. You will also receive a certificate as proof of all training received.

Before starting this work, both the family and the Au Pair will sign an agreement with DbN. This agreement specifically defines your role in the family and protects you from being misused for tasks such as housework which are not part of this agreement.

    Letter of recommendation

We will monitor your progress during your work experience and use this to write a letter of recommendation concerning your performance and progress made over the 3 months of working with us. This letter will include information about your punctuality, communication skills and intercultural intelligence.
